Big things are coming when you hit the slopes next year in Park City and across many Vail Resort properties. Park City Mountain has seen many improvements and upgrades in recent years, including High Meadow Park – a dedicated learning zone for beginners, Over and Out Lift - an alternative way to go from the slopes to Canyons Village, and a number of upgrades to the on-mountain dining experience. These upgrades are part of Vail Resorts' 15 year, $2.2 billion investment in lift upgrades, new dining locations and more to enhance the overall guest experience.

Here at Park City Mountain, we're thrilled to unveil two new lift upgrades for the 2022-23 season. Guests will see a new Silverlode Express - Vail Resorts' first high-speed 8-person chair in North America, which will replace the current 6-peson chair - and a new 6-person Eagle Lift, which will replace and upgrade the previously planned Lift A with a new mid-station and modified alignment. These upgrades will significantly reduce wait times and better circulate guests on the mountain. At Park City Mountain, we're committed to continually investing in opportunities to elevate the guest experience, and we can't wait to welcome skiers and snowboarders to two new ribbon cutting ceremonies next season.

And it's not just a commitment here in Park City. Across Vail Resorts, new for the 2022-23 season, guests will experience 12 new high-speed chairlifts, a new high-speed gondola and eight new fixed-grip chairlifts, plus expanded access into incredible terrain and an upgraded restaurant – all designed to help you make the most out of every minute on the mountain. With projects planned at 14 resorts coast to coast, this is Vail Resorts’ biggest single-year investment into the ski and snowboard experience at $320 million. The projects are a part of the company's Epic Lift Upgrade, which will reduce lift line wait times, giving you more time to learn new skills, explore new terrain, and discover new peaks. In addition to the lift upgrades for the 2022-23 season, there were several exciting lift upgrades and a terrain expansion launched across several resorts during the 2021-22 season. We hope you'll join us next season to try out the new Silverlode Express and Eagle Lift!
