Spring Grüv
Park City presents the 12th annual Spring Grüv.
Dates:
Daily: Mar 23 - Apr 07
Important notes and information regarding schedule and lodging at the bottom of the page. For 16 days we'll be having huge, free concerts in the two villages, as well as the 23rd Annual Pond Skimming Contest! It's one of those traditions that has been wild from the start. The Pond Skimming Contest is Park City's most popular party and is the true indicator that spring has arrived. Contestants must dress in costume (the funkier the better) as they attempt to cross a 100-foot pond on skis or a snowboard. The pond and the excitement happen at mid-mountain just outside Red Pine Lodge. Must be 10 years of age or older to enter. Spectators will need a lift or gondola ticket to watch. Event schedule is still in progress, so please check back for more information and activities!

What has culminated is Everything's Fine: a breathtaking embrace of heartbreak and hope, wrapped in lush orchestrations reminiscent of Jon Brion and Van Dyke Parks an delivered with rich vocals, derivative of her varied musical influences ranging from Harry Nillson to Sufjan Stevens; from Cat Power to Joni Mitchell.
3:00 - 5:00 PM Après Live Music by Changing Lanes Experience: PayDay Deck
Changing Lanes Band received their first opportunity to perform as a wedding band 5 years ago, and has then evolved to be featured on live TV with NBC, CBS, ABC and Park City TV every year since 2011. Their immaculate taste in music arrangement gave them the opportunity to play with YouTube Star Alex Boye, which led to second round (ending as TOP 15) in SEASON X of America’s Got Talent (AGT) 2015. This young group of talent is educated in decades of musical genres, and has since then been invited to Destination Gala’s across the nation, music festivals, high profile corporate forums, and occasionally still finds time to host high end weddings. Changing Lanes' work ethic is indescribable, as they average 160-200 shows annually. This is primarily due to their high energy and ability to keep classic songs like, Papa was a Rolling Stone, Purple Rain, and Play that Funky Music in the ears of the young people, and the power to advance the old school lovers to songs like Dynamite, Crazy in Love , and Shut Up and Dance. Changing Lanes is truly Changes Lives across America! LaneChangers Band, sometimes referred to as Changing Lanes “B Team” or Changing Lanes “Lil Brother”… This group is second to none.
