Get Ready

Once you’ve booked a lesson

Double check everything: please read the confirmation letter to make sure we have the correct lessons and lesson dates

  • If you are at Park City or in area the day before your lesson, it is recommended that you pick up your tickets and rental equipment for the following day.  The Ski and Snowboard School Sales Office is open until 5:00 pm every day.
  • All lessons begin on time; we are not typically able to accommodate late arrivals. We will attempt to accommodate adjustments to your lesson at no charge AT LEAST 24 hours before the start of your lesson. Cancellations and changes made within 24 hours of the lesson(s) start time will incur a $75 rebooking or cancellation fee. For cancellations and changes occurring on the day of the lesson, and No Call-No shows, the fee is 100% of the total cost of the first day's lesson(s) and any remaining lessons will be cancelled. Weather and snow conditions are not viable reasons for cancellation.
  • Any adjustments made at the resort are based on the lesson window rate at the resort on the day of the adjustment.

On the day of your lesson

  • First come to the Ski and Snowboard School Sales Office to collect your tickets and sign your waiver – we open at 8:00.

FAQ'S

Lift tickets are not included in the base price of lessons. Everyone accessing the mountain must have a lift ticket. For many of our lessons we offer a discounted lift ticket as an add-on product.

Snow, Friends and Fun!
  • For our Ultimate 4, 5 and Youth group children’s lessons, participants are to meet on snow, after any equipment needs are taken care of. These classes will begin the lunch process at 11:30 am and they will take breaks as needed. They will end their day in the same location as morning check-in, newly acquired skiing or snowboarding skills in hand.
  • Our Ultimate 3 (3 yr. old program) meets indoor, check-in is from 8:45-9:00 am. Just after 9:30 am, soon after getting rental gear fitted, these young skiers will head out onto the snow. They will spend as much time on the snow as their individual group needs, taking breaks for bathroom needs, rest, water, or snacks. They will return to skiing after lunch for the remainder of the day, or until their fuel tank hits empty. Please pick them up at the same morning check-in location at 3:00 pm
  • If you have a picky eater, try not to worry, we provide a choice of several items for your child to choose from. You are always welcome to provide a sack lunch if your child has special food allergy concerns.
  • Please also provide your participant with appropriate layers, a neck gaiter, sunscreen, and eye protection.

If your child's lesson includes lunch, these are the daily options and rotating menu which they will receive during their ski or snowboard lesson.

Dietary Restrictions & Allergies

Park City Ski and Snowboard School is dedicated to provide a kid-friendly and nutritionally balanced menu for our children’s Ultimate 4, Ultimate 5, and Youth group products. Our food is prepared on site in our kitchens. We are unable to guarantee there is no cross contamination of our menu options in our kitchens or in our lunch rooms. For the safety and the well-being of your child, we are unable to accommodate individual requests or dietary restrictions. If your child has special dietary needs or restrictions, we ask that you provide their lunch.

We gladly accept any packed lunches during our ski school check-in. We will transport the lunch to the specific location in which your child will be eating. Please pack it in an identifiable and disposable container/bag with your child’s first and last name clearly labeled on the outside. Once transported to our facilities, we will store the lunch in a refrigerator. There is no need for insulated bags.

Our Ultimate 5 Peak to Peak students do not normally eat in our kids lunch rooms, and may eat at one of our several on mountain restaurants. These venues have several menu options available from which to choose.
